🗾Environmental center trip🗾
On Tuesday July the 30th 2019 our Year 6 Learning Neighbourhood went on a trip to the HB Williams library the Botanical gardens and  the Environment center.
To get to the HB Williams library, the Botanical gardens and  the Environment center, we had to  walk across bridges, along pavement
that was absolutely covered in rubbish so my friend Eruera and I decided to pick it up!
At the Environmental center we did a scavenger hunt we held and learnt about worms. 
We also learnt about composting the green layers and the brown layers.
I also learnt about Gizzy kai rescue and how the food is sorted!

On thursday my class and I made art with our art teacher Mrs Griffin.
 we made owls and  had to work collaboratively so I worked with my friend taine.
It was hard working collaboratively because we didn't always agree but overall it was fun and here's the finished
 project!

Today I made a poster about sea life and the rubbish going into the sea
and how we need to stop and fast to save the worlds sealife!!!

Powtoon Chromebook Rules

My powtoon is about how to treat your chromebook.
 I also learned how to make a powtoon and it is extremely fun!!!

My Speech

we are learning to show our personality and what we love. We have drawn an I and put all the things we are and like to do. Next time I might try to write a little neater and be quicker.
